God came to us in the incarnate Son not to hide himself, but rather to reveal himself to men in the fullest way possible, in a manner that we can understand. Certainly the brilliance of the transfigured Savior on the Mount of Transfiguration conveyed some truth about who he is, but the fuller revelation of God in Christ came through his life, lived out and seen day by day, full of grace and truth, full of mercy, forgiving iniquity, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. Have you beheld his glory?
