In the midst of the crowd's jubilation, Jesus lamented as he entered Jerusalem on the last Sunday before his death. He didn't lament for himself, but rather for the people who had refused the offer of peace which he, the Prince of Peace, had brought. Are we as heart-invested in the salvation of others? Do we pray for their salvation? Jesus yearned for the lost, even those who would have a hand in his murder just a handful of days later.
